FCi Conference 2012
16 August 2012

In 2011 a very successful food conference was held in Rennes, entitled "Agriculture for Health and the Environment", with scientists attending and presenting from many countries. We are delighted that a similar event will now take place in Birmingham on 29th November 2012.
The focus of the conference is to discuss the impact of dietary PUFA choice on human health, animal performance and the environment.
This one-day conference, organised by Valorex, FCi and Bleu-Blanc-Coeur from France and BOCM PAULS from the UK, will be essential for people working in all sectors of our food industry. It will be of great interest to livestock farmers (dairy, beef, sheep, pig and poultry), as well as nutritionists and veterinary professionals. Taking our food from farm to fork, it will also be extremely relevant to both processors (dairy, meat and eggs) and retailers.
The aim of the conference is to deliver a basic science-orientated event in which the latest research in lipid nutrition can be shared and discussed.
A programme detailing the papers that will be presented during the day, together with a biography of our speakers and a registration form can be downloaded below:
