Do Unitrition contract crush oil seeds?
Yes. We have many agreements with customers to contract crush oil seeds from 100t upwards. We will either return both meal and oil to agreed specifications or market the meals and cakes produced on your behalf. Oil storage may be available if required.

What quality assurance can the company give?
Unitrition are members of both SCOPA and FOSFA. As a UKASTA assured company, Unitrition have access to extensive laboratory facilities on site, monitoring both raw materials and finished products.

Are Unitrition able to supply organic oils and cakes?
Unitrition are fully approved by the Soil Association to process and sell organic oils and expeller cakes. We also produce rape, linseed, and non GM soya oil, and expellers, which can be used as part of the non organic allowance.

Can you heat treat and process other raw materials on behalf of third parties?
Unitrition have entered into many confidentiality agreements with customers to process their own products to an agreed specification.

Is Selby UFAS registered?
Yes, we are the only fully registered UK oil seed crusher to have full approval. Being part of the human food chain and animal feed industry, we are audited by other official bodies such as the Soil Association as well as many of our customers.
